Kaizer Chiefs will finally close out the 2005-2006 season when they take on Jomo Cosmos at the Bafokeng Sport Palace in Rustenburg on Sunday afternoon, in the delayed African Heritage Cup.

Chiefs were originally meant to play against Moroka Swallows in February; the game was postponed after adverse weather conditions had done damage to the playing surface.

The game will kick off at 16h00 this Sunday the 28th May and the Amakhosi barring the injured pair of Arthur Zwane and Patrick Mayo will be at full strength for the game, for which tickets are currently available at Shoprite Checkers Stores and Computicket outlets nation wide. The organizers of the event have said that they will also use the game to honor Kaizer Chiefs Chairman Kaizer Motaung and Jomo Sono coach and owner of Jomo Cosmos.

Amakhosi team manager Bobby Motaung also confirmed on Friday after training that Chiefs will return to training on the 26th June and the players will have roughly a month off. Coach Ernst Middendorp has urged the players to rest and recuperate during the off season and has also called on players to go on holiday and get some time away.

Team manager Bobby Motaung also added that a number of players had been given the green light by the club to further their careers elsewhere, the names of players parting company with the club will be made public next week.
