The team led by Emmanuel Khumalo took the center stage of Kaizer Chiefs activities this weekend by taking services to the grassroots of the Amakhosi Family.

Kaizer Chiefs supporters and fans who came from Diepsloot, Honeydew, Beggersdaal and the surroundings, had a rare opportunity to get their membership cards issued instantly while taking advantage of the occasion to interact with some of Kaizer Chiefs Management members and officials who were on site.

“It excites me to see that Kaizer Chiefs head office, management in particular, show full support of what we are doing at grassroots level. Management’s presence here, will go a long way in allowing us to build trust and integrity in the work we are doing.

We therefore take this opportunity to invite all those who could not make it to today’s recruitment to please come and visit our Supporters Club House at 857, Extension two (Diepsloot), so as to know more about membership cards” said Samuel Dikgalo Mathekga, Chairperson of the Diepsloot Branch.

“It is extremely important, that we bring services to the doorsteps of our supporters. By so doing we are not only supporting the good work done here but creating a platform for interacting with our supporters while continually raising awareness on supporters club” said the obviously pleased Emmanuel Khumalo.

The occasion was also graced by the presence of Kaizer Chiefs Marketing Director Jessica Motaung, who took sometime off her busy schedule to pledge management’s support on the work done by the branches and the recruitment team.

Kaizer Chiefs Public Relations Manager Siyabulela “24/7” Makunga, also enjoyed informative interactive sessions with various branches that included Diepsloot, Honeydew and Beggersdaal. “It is always special to take a moment and listen to valuable inputs from our key stakeholder, the Amakhosi faithful.

This help us to understand whether or not we meet their expectations. We were encouraged by the level of organization and commitment shown by the Diepsloot Branch Executive Committee, something that needs to be celebrated and/or emulated by others who are still lacking behind” he said.

Amakhosi Supporters Club are expected to visit Honeydew and Beggersdaal branches on the 16th and 30th of May respectively.
