The Amakhosi enter their crunch Premier Soccer League game against defending PSL Champions Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday afternoon at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg, minus the dangerous midfield duo of Derrick Spencer and Tinashe Nengomasha. This after the pair were unable to come through a late fitness test and have been ruled out of the game against Sundowns, Ernst Middendorp has as a result had to make changes to his starting eleven once again.

Captain Cyril Nzama who missed Chiefs last outing in the league against Golden Arrows at the start of the month through injury, returns to the starting eleven against Sundowns to make his 200th appearance for Chiefs. Nzama takes the place of David Obua who arrived back in the country on Thursday after being on international duty with the Ugandan national team in Niger.
