Amakhosi make two changes fo Bucs clash

Amakhosi coach Vladimir Vermezovic has made two changes to the Chiefs starting eleven for this evenings MTN 8 Semi Final First Leg clash with Orlando Pirates at the FNB Stadium, from the team that drew 1-1 with Maritzburg United during an Absa Premiership encounter on Wednesday evening.



Chiefs will have a more offensive look to them for as they prepare to take on their historical rivals and are also boosted at the back by the return of defender Valery Nahayo, who missed the Maritzburg clash as he was away on duty with the Burundi national team.



He takes the place of Thomas Sweswe in a back four that also includes Jimmy Tau, Punch Masenemela and Dominic Isaacs, the other switch is up front where Sthembiso Ngcobo will partner Knowledge Musona. Ngcobo replaces Abia Nale who will start Saturday’s game from the bench.



The last official Cup game contested between Chiefs and Pirates at the FNB Stadium was during the semi – final stage of the same competition when it was still known as the BP Top Eight 8, Chiefs won that game 1-0 Kenny Niemach headed the game winner for the Amakhosi as they saw off Pirates on August 19th 2001.
