The three remaining Chiefs players Thomas Sweswe, Tinashe Nengomasha and Valery Nahayo who were on international duty this past weekend returned to training on Tuesday morning joined up with their teammates for training after representing their respective national teams in African Nations Cup qualifying games.

Chiefs trio Siphiwe Tshabalala, Reneilwe Letsholonyane and Itumeleng Khune as well as Mandla Masango who were on duty for Bafana Bafana and the South Africa national U23 team over the weekend respectively, returned to training on Monday.

Nengomasha and Sweswe returned to South Africa on Monday from Bamako in Mali where they had played for the Zimbabwe national team against the Eagles of Mali on Saturday afternoon.

Nahayo also jetted in on Monday returning from Kigali in Rwanda where he had represented Burundi in an Africa Cup of Nations Qualifying game also on Saturday.

The timely return of all of his international players is a welcome boost for Chiefs coach Vladimir Vermezovic as the Amakhosi begin preparations for their next competitive outing on the 6th of April when they take on BIDVest Wits in an Absa Premiership match.
