The excitement is building ahead of the Soweto Derby. Kaizer Chiefs electrified the atmosphere with activations to ramp up the anticipation at the Kaizer Chiefs Village and Evaton Mall, where supporters gathered to showcase their team spirit and enthusiasm.

At the Village, supporters flocked to collect their new branch flags, engaging with Kaizer Chiefs Radio, which was live on site. The winners of the Kappa competition were celebrated, adding to the festive atmosphere. Former players, Stanton Fredericks and Sphiwe Tshabalala, interacted with supporters, sharing good moments and motivation.

"Mental strength is key in a game like the Soweto Derby. Players need to be focused and driven. This one can also inspire us more ahead of the Nedbank Cup match against the same rivals a week later in Durban," said Tshabalala.

At Evaton Mall, supporters enjoyed the entertainment as well as competitions where they won prizes, including match day tickets, Vodacom goodies, and merchandise.

On match-day, fans can expect more excitement, including a tour of the Kaizer Chiefs Village and a pre-match concert at the stadium, starting at 12:00. To make the most of your Soweto Derby experience, we recommend arriving at the FNB Stadium early. The pre-match concert promises to be an exciting warm-up to the main event.
