Thanks to German company Schuco who have installed a number of Solar Panels at the Kaizer Chiefs village, The Amakhosi will be doing their bit to make the most of the energy supplied by Mother Nature.

The panels which were recently installed atop the players Change rooms at the Chiefs village will be providing the players with warm up making use solely of the suns power and not through electrical or other means.

Team manager Bobby Motaung thanked Schuco for their contributions saying “sometimes I think we are careless when we do things and what I have learnt out of this small project will help us become more energy efficient and in a small way we will do our part in preserving the environment”.

When the Chiefs players return to duty on the 26th June they will end their session with a shower heated up by Mother Nature.
