Kaizer Chiefs have put their weekend loss to Moroka Swallows behind them and focusing on preparations for the next league assignment against Bloemfontein Celtic on Saturday, according to the club's communication manager Putco Mafani.

Amakhosi lost their second league match going down 1-0 to a late Swallows goal scored by Dennis Lota at the Rand Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

“We are moving on with our campaign despite the loss over the weekend and we are still determined as ever,” said Mafani. “The tickets for the match against Celtic are already on sale at Computicket outlets and are selling at R20.00 for adults as well as R10.00 for juveniles.

“People should prepare themselves for an exciting battle especially since Celtic won their weekend match against Arrows and we lost.”

Meanwhile, the club’s doctor Phil Maepa has confirmed that there is still no clear indication that midfielder Emmanuel Ngobese will be ready for the Saturday match after the player sustained an injury in the Swallows match.

“Whether or not we will be available for selection for the Celtic will depend on my second assessment of the player’s condition,” said the doctor.

“He was in a lot of pain after he took a knock against Swallows, hence he could not finish the match and had to be substituted.”
