The Glamour Boys will be hoping to continue with their newfound form when they meet rivals, Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday, 17 October 2009.

The Amakhosi have been on top form scoring six goals and conceding one in the past two league encounters. They also added the Macufe Cup win last Sunday. However, the game against Pretoria outfit, Mamelodi Sundown will be a different ball game.

“Sundowns are a tough side with lots of quality players. We are a big team and we know what we want is three points out of this game,” said on form midfielder, Reneilwe Letsholonyane speaking to kaizercchiefs.com on Thursday morning.

“It is very important that we keep on winning our games if we are to stand any chance to be counted in the league at the end of the season. We have been playing well in the past couple of weeks and luck, that eluded us in the beginning of the season, has been on our side. I also think as a team we are working harder and we have rectified our mistakes. We are all ready for Sundowns come Saturday,” he said.

Chiefs is missing a couple of quality players in Thomas Sweswe, David Mathebula and Abia Nale but “Yeye” as the midfielder is affectionately known is confident that there are players in the team who can do the business in the absence of the trio.

“The coach put a different team against Bloemfontein Celtic on Sunday and the guys did very well. This shows that we have enough depth in the team so I have no doubt that other players are going to come in and do the business in the absence of the other guys. When we walk in the field on Saturday we will have one thing on our minds, three points,” he concluded confidently.
