Amakhosi’s junior teams once again showed what a bright future awaits the Club by winning all of their seven matches in their SAFA Gauteng Development League (GDL) double-header over the weekend.

On Saturday, they entertained Joburg City at the Village where the U14s began with a 5-0 thrashing of their opponents. After the U15 fixture was abandoned, the U17s won their encounter by 2-0 and the U19s wrapped things up with a 3-1 victory.

The following day, Sevens Academy came to the Village and were despatched in similar fashion with the U14s prevailing 3-0, as did the U15s by 3-1. The U17s went one better, winning 4-1 and the U19s crowned a perfect weekend with a resounding 7-0 trouncing of their counterparts.

This coming Saturday, 13 June, the U15s will participate in the GDL Festival at Clapham High School, where they will play East Rand Athletic Club U15s, kicking off at 15:00.

The next day, Sunday 14 June, the U14s will take their turn at the Festival at the same venue, taking on East Rand Athletic Club U14s at 13:30.
