ABSA Stadium heads for sell out

It seems a very likely scenario now that Kaizer Chiefs and Moroka Swallows will play before a packed ABSA Stadium in Durban when the two Soweto rivals clash on Sunday, in the coastal town to decide who will meet either Mamelodi Sundowns or SuperSport United in the final.

In a match which has been dubbed as ‘part two’ as the two teams clashed at the same venue in the 2004 SAA Supa Semi Finals, has seen fans in Durban and around the country quickly snap up tickets for the game.

At noon time on Friday more than thirty five thousand of the fourty five thousand tickets on offer to the public had already found their way into the hands of supporters, eager to attend the game. With pre sales of tickets for the game running smoothly, it can only mean that PSL Marketing and Communications representative Ntambi Ravele is a very happy person at this time.

Ravele commenting on the sale of tickets for Sunday’s semi final said “it is a good sign to see that we have sold such a large percentage of tickets for the game so rapidly, for fans who still have not done so they will have to go early on Saturday to their nearest ticket outlet as we are expecting to tickets to be sold out sometime on Saturday”.

The fact that Sunday’s game will probably be played before a full house at the ABSA Stadium made Kaizer Chiefs team manager Bobby Motaung comment, “it pleases us to see the fans getting behind the game, every body likes to play in front of a full stadium.

After all it is a semi final match and we want our fans to be part of the experience and hopefully share in our joy when we make it through to the final”.

Fans who have not yet purchased tickets for Sunday’s game can make an early stop on Saturday morning at their nearest Computicket outlet, to buy their match tickets at a cost of R20 for adults and R10 for Juvenile Tickets.

What ever Tickets are still over after the close of business on Friday, will also be on sale at Shoprite & Checkers stores through out the Durban area.
